Well I don’t think anyone clinked their champagne glasses together and saw the current pandemic in their future. I doubt anyone discussed coronavirus as part of their 2020 goals. Unfortunately we are living in an unprecedented time and I think relief comes in the fact that the world is going through this together.
Right now many businesses are suffering and some are even closing, small businesses are truly the backbone of America supporting families and growth. Right now it is so important to support your local business and community. Below are my favorite taco spots that are delivering or are available for pick-up.
Carlitos Taqueria – Delivery & Pick Up from their Lyndhurst, NJ location.
To this day this is still my favorite and highest rated taco spot. The highest quality ingredients, freshly made tortillas, perfectly cooked BBQ style meats, a dedicated staff and passionate owners make this number 1. 9.4/10 for our review
- As of March 17th, Carlitos has temporarily closed their Paramus location, for now they are operating and fulfilling deliveries from their pop up location in Lyndhurst, NJ. Orders can be placed through delivery services and they are available for pick-up.

Pico Taco – Hoboken, NJ Location – Delivery and Pick up.
A great spot in Hoboken for some amazing tacos, right now they are offering 25% off orders, check out their site for the deal now. They have great al pastor and freshly made tortillas they scored a 8.8/10 on our review.
Mezcal Kitchen – Bayonne and JC Locations – Delivery and Pick up.
Another great option for anyone in Bayonne or Jersey City, Mezcal is offering, great deals right now for pick up and delivery at 10% off for both locations Mezcal has a 7.4/10
- Fresh ingredients are a standout with a good selection of Mexican food on the menu.

Tony Baloney’s – Atlantic City, Jersey City and Hoboken – delivery and pick up.
While Tony Baloney’s is known as a pizza place, one item in particular has always caught my attention. On Tuesdays only of course the tradition continues for delivery and pick up. Tony Baloney’s taco pizza scored an 8.1/10 on our review
- 3 different tacos to one slice of pizza. great sandwiches, pizzas and more.
- They are currently offering DIY pizza kits, dough, toppings, and sauce. Watch live on Sundays on their Instagram to take part in a pizza making course.
- If you ever wanted to learn how make mozzarella cheese, they are offering a kit as well with another Instagram live course.
Taqueria Downtown – Jersey City Locations – Pick up and Delivery
A downtown staple of Jersey City, Taqueria has served the community for 15 years as a brick and mortar. Taqueria always satisfied with Mexican and East La style tacos with vegetarian options and plenty of flavor. Our review of Taqueria is at 8/10
- 12 different types of tacos are offered here, the picadillo and carnitas are my favorite.
- grab some chips & salsa, tostadas are also a great option. food is authentic
